Filton Logo...

Now this is really old...I re-branded Filton Brewery Company back in 2005. They were enthusiastic for an image overhaul but wanted to keep their logo / mascot 'Ernie' because he was well established and easily recognisable. I took Ernie, who was at the time a woodcut style pixel drawn image, and gave him a bit of character, also making him a more versatile mascot for the company. they loved it, and now the Mk2 Ernie is synonymous with the company. In the picture you can see him embroided onto an employee's polo shirt, and above you'll see the old Ernie...

vidyo!

Logo for a company whicg produces short movies under the company name 'VidYO'. i was asked asked to create a sharp new logo that also had a hint of 'old - school' in there...I came up with this idea, using the Standby symbol on a TV remote control as the 'O'

Show Stopping!

London Boat Show starts this week, and in the run up to the event I produced mailshots for four powerboat and yacht brands to promote their presence at the show. I've uploaded one that I designed for Bavaria Motor Boats. the inside spread showcases the Bavaria boats that will be at the show, with particular emphasis on the debut of their newest model, the 30 Sport. the mailshots were produced using Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop.

NSF

In true BMX company fashion, this was another last minute rush job for NSF BMX store in Newcastle. In the bottom left you'll see one of the logo / T- shirt prints I drew for them in early 2006.

Musicals Ball....

Attila...

This is an Attila Bikes ad in the December issue of Dig Magazine. We were (as usual) on a really tight deadline and ended up using a picture of me, taken by Chris-Hill-Scott in Cheltenham.

Quick Job...

So I got an email yesterday from one of my old work mates who has since started his own business running a recording studio. The brief he set me was to create him a logo that he could use on his business cards / letterheads / crew T-shirts. he was dead set on the logo basically being a picture of a barn, complete with picket fence (!) and after throwing a handful of alternatives to him he proved that he was a man of his word - it was going to be the barn all the way. He had a limited budget so I said I'd give it a night's work and see what I could come up with. The image you can see here is the result...
